VOTE FOR THE PERSON, NOT THE NAME

This is my first run for political office in the City of Taylor, but I'm not new to the City. Growing up in Taylor I attended Fairlane/Wareing Elementary, Truman Junior High and Truman High School, graduating in 1987. I enlisted in the US Navy in 1988, after being honorably discharged in 1994 I returned to Taylor before moving out of state for work. I returned to Taylor from California in 2005, marrying Stephanie and having two sons, who are both attending Taylor Schools. I am very active in the community serving at my church, my lodge and the Taylor Housing Commission.

I chose to raise my kids in Taylor because I want them to have a similar experience to what I had growing up. Taylor has changed some, but there is still a strong sense of community and it still has a small town feel. I love that when I shop in Taylor I will run into someone I know, that when I meet someone for the first time we discover multiple connections we didn't expect.
I chose to run for office because I want Taylor to be the city my kids want to raise their families in. I'm upset by the hidden agendas and unexplained decisions I see some City Council members making. If you want to make the world a better place, start local,
